Rather Random

I havent posted in a little while so I just thought I give an update. Devin's  on a soccer league here and I was realizing, we don't have ANY pictures of either of us playing soccer so I wanted to get some pictures to prove to our grand kids that we really did play soccer, were hoping to still be playing when we have grand kids lol! So here are a few fun shots of Devin at his best!

I wanted to try and get some cute pictures of Elysa while we watched Dev play. It was REALLY windy, plus Elysa just kept wanting to go play on the "Weeee" aka slide. There were TONS of people there so I couldn't get any cute shots without some weird person in the background so I gave up on that but I did get this cute photo when Elysa finally started to tucker out, she is almost impossible to get pictures of because she is such a little busy body and doesn't hold still for more than 2 seconds!

Later on that day we went to Hyrum Dam. I had to write a report for my history class on the history of something in Cache Valley. We really wanted to go to Old Ephraims grave but wasn't able to make it up there, plus we didn't want to get stuck in the mud because we heard it was still pretty muddy up there. My grandma gave me some really old history books about Hyrum and the Dam. It was actually pretty fun to read because it was stories from the pioneers rather then just straight old history facts. Our teacher wanted us to actually visit the place we were gonna right about so we could have some sort of emotional connection to our report also. So I took the opportunity to get some pictures.
I love my little sis so much! She is growing up WAY to fast! Kinda brings you to tears sometimes with how fast they grow. It's about time to bring on another little one :) Were thinking maybe next summer, we'll see! Elysa is ready tho, she carries around her little babies ( I should get photos of that huh? ). She loves to tuck them in their crib and give them kisses a nu night. It's so stinkin' cute. She's gonna be a good big sister. I just love family, especially our little family. I love that we do everything together and its so fun getting to experience new and fun things together too. We are driving to Yellowstone in July and I am SOOOOO psyched! Anyways just had to post a little something :)

Easter a little late

I was going thru my pictures and realized I never posted about Easter. However that was all during our move so I think I have some sort of excuse for getting to it so late. I'll just post the pictures I scrapbookedbecause it basically tells/shows it all. :)

WoW!

I officially went a whole month without updating! I apologize! ALOT has happened since I update last. I will kinda just hit the key things:

1. We officially moved into the "new" home. Things are going well. We still have ALOT to do, mostly painting besides redoing the gutted out bathroom and getting new countertops for the laundry room, master bathroom and kitchen. Sigh, still alot to do but the living room is completely finished besides the decor that I want to do!

2. I started up school again. I'm hoping to graduate in August if not sooner. My sister in-law, Cammie, was kind enough to watch Elysa while I am at school. After school, at 2:00, I started a new job working with a friend of mine from soccer. I am their graphic designer, so I work there from 2-5. Devin took work off at 2 now so he can be home with Elysa while I work. ONTOP of that my teacher offered me a job with him! I am just doing freelance for now but he wants to hire me on full time down the road! Once I am done with school I am going to work with him and Devin will be a stay at home daddy :) * he's so excited!*

3. I explained in number 2, besides school now I am working 2 jobs, technically 3 with my own business! I still have some clients i'm trying to clear off my plate! So I am one tired girl! Sometimes I don't know how I am going to make it thru the week!

Hardest thing about it all is not getting to be at home with my baby girl :( I realized I have been replaced with her stuffed monkey a.k.a "mon-tee". It is nice how much she misses me when she gets home, switching places with papa, so that helps some.

Here is a pic I took of her for one of my class projects, yes I had to let her play with markers ( not that that's new anyways lol) for the picture, but it turned out SO cute.. she is a good little model!

Here's the finished ad. As you can see it was for a crayola crayons ad :)

Alot to catch up on

We celebrated Devin's birthday tonight. I surprised him by taking him to Texas Roadhouse ( I really just wanted him to have to sit on a saddle an holler "YeeeHaa!" haha) It was alot of fun! Happy Birthday Dev you are now a quarter of a century old.. well tomorrow you will be haha :).

So I am a little bit behind this month on blogging. It has been so crazy with work and getting the house ready to move into. We have set the end of the month our deadline. We are hoping to be in sooner.. crazy how much work we have gotten done! I will post pictures once it's all decorated up and cute :).
Work has been insane, I think this time of the year everyone decides they want design work and websites done cause I am swamped! Which is good tho right? I wont complain! I have 6 website builds on my plate right now and a few more coming in it's seriously insane!

I just have to share how much I love my little family! We have so much fun together.. I knew kids would make life happy but I had no idea that it would be this much! I love the nights where we all are dancing in the living room to one of sisa's little kiddy shows and we are just laughing and having fun! Being in front of my computer ALL DAY LONG pretty much  I like to take a few minutes here and there to look at our pictures thru the years and I just smile the whole time because I realize how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband. I just can't get over how perfect we are for eachother and how happy I am with him. I love knowing that we really are going to be together for eternity. *Smile* ok enough with the "sappiness" but I do have to brag a little, I cannot believe how smart and good our little girl is.
I usually make it a point to dedicate my mornings to Elysa by watching her favorite shows with her, play "Apple"(computer learning game) with her, and we always have to dance and color until she is ready for a nap then I go to work while she's asleep. But the other day I had no choice but to work that morning because I had alot of deadlines that I just wouldn't be able to meet unless I started in the morning and poor thing was so mad at me for not dancing with her. After getting off the phone with one of my clients I noticed Elysa wasn't playing in the living room anymore so I went to look for her and found her fast asleep in her little bed wrapped in her blanket. Poor little girl just put herself down for a nap without me. As sad as it was I was so proud of her. I can't believe how fast she is growing and how much of a big girl she is. I just lover her to pieces!

Here are a few pictures I took of my baby over the past few weeks.. she's growing to fast *tear*..

Happy Valentines!

Boy did my husband surprise me this year for Valentines. I have been talking about wanting a sewing machine forever. I wasn't sure if I would really have time or not so I tossed the idea in the air alot trying to decide and my husband finally made the decision for me.. and I'm glad he did! He gave me the weirdest deal tho, he said " I'll make you a deal, you buy the camera you have always wanted ( he secretly wanted it too ) and i'll buy you a sewing machine for Valentines." How can I say no to that!? Not to mention I wasn't even expecting it. So I now have a DSLR camera that I am freakin out about how bad I want summer here so I can go get some pictures ( I'm a wimp to the cold ) and a sewing machine that I have been sewing like crazy on! My first project was a camera strap cover for my.. sorry our  ( ;) Devin ) camera -->Then I made a little owl pillow for Elysa's room ( didn't turn out to great but it's alright ).

Then I made a cute skirt for Elysa. It looks so freakin cute on her! I tried to get some pictures of her but they didn't turn out the best cause of lighting so I will have to try during the day sometime.. sure wish it was summer! * Can you tell that I have alot of this fabric lol.
We are still working on the other house and have done ALOT to it. I am still priming everything ( I hate HATE prime painting, it's so time consuming and I just want to paint color so bad.) I finally got to painting the color in the Laundry room and it is now ready for flooring to go in. We bought hardwood flooring last week as well as vinyl tile for the bathrooms and laundry room and just need to set up the appointment for them to come put it in. We literally tore about the main bathroom it has nothing left in it. We even took out the old gross bathtub/shower. Can't wait to get the new one in! Next room will be Elysa's room and I really can't wait to get it painted so we can get to decorating. We decided it's about time for her to have a toddler bed and I have been searching for the right bedding everywhere and couldn't find anything that I liked. So I decided to try and make her a comforter for her because I saw the cutest fabric and was like "man if I were brave enough" and I decided i'd try. So here is her freakin cute comforter -->
I am so excited now to get her room all dazzled up. I'm gonna go sewing crazy and make pillows, curtains, cute pictures.. aaaa.. I'm excited haha.
So that is what I have been up to among other things. :)

This is my digital Scrapbook. And.. yeah.. i designed the papers and stuff myself :) sweet huh?

Elysa's Favorite Video! She asks for it by pointing at the computer and yelling "Apples!Apples"
