We're having.......

Incase some of you missed it. We found out on Tuesday that we are having..

A Little Mister!

This couldn't have worked out more perfect! I secret always wanted lots of kids when I was younger and if I was going to have a lot 4 sounded good as long as it was 2 of each. After having my first 2 kids sounded a lot more ideal for us but obviously someone had other plans for our little family and I got my childhood dream family after all :)

He's a strong little guy. I have been feeling him move since about 17 weeks and I mean really move, not just little flutters. Devin could even feel him kicking! He's constantly moving too and prefers to move the most at night when I just lay down in bed.

Lys already loves him and is so excited. The other night she kissed my tummy and read him a little story :) She is such a good big sis.

Can't wait to meet him in person!

Twins are 1!!!

Where does time go.. seriously!

I honestly can't believe it  has been a whole year since these 2 were born. I feel like it went by in such a blur.. sometimes it brings me to tears because of how fast it went. I guess that's a benefit to having another one so quickly is that I get to experience that feeling of holding a precious newborn all over again ;) Granted, I think with twins.. there wasn't as much holding and snuggling as I would have liked because with 2 how do you choose who to hold and rock? They are both to adorable it's too hard to choose.. so we'd just lay them down and admire their cuteness or cuddle with them on the floor.. but there wasn't as much holding as you'd do with a single baby.

Anyways, these guys have been so special to our family. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world! They both have cute little personalities. I seriously can't believe how different twins could be! When you think of twins or hear of twins, at least for me, I always thought of twin features, twin personalities, twin everything! But oh was I wrong! These 2 are complete opposites in every way!

I seriously forgot how little they were, because seeing them now you wouldn't believe they were premies! 

Here's pictures from their birthday party. They had so much fun and loved all the attention.

We had a cupcake party and let everyone frost their own cupcakes. All the kids loved it and got kicks out of frosting and serving cupcakes to all the adults.

Sys wanted to play with their toys alittle more than they did. However once they saw big sis playing with their toy they fought over it haha.

They didn't know what to do so we had to help them a little bit. I thought for sure they'd just smash the cupcakes in their faces but they just stared at them until we fed them a little then they just nicely ate them. So we kinda helped them get messy ;)

It was such a fun little party and they just loved having family their. I would think it was a first birthday success :)

Devin's 28!

First off I am SOO behind on blogging... i've said it before but when i'm pregnant I just lose all ambition to do stuff.. I am just SO tired.. so alas.. you are going to get a ton of late blog posts in the next couple weeks lol...  But to start off with I missed this guys birthday post. 

His birthday was March 14 ( ya I am that far behind)

He is just so special to me and I love him so much. He is an amazing father. I didn't ever know a guy could be so darn good with kids but man.. he sure know's what he's doing!

I of course didn't get any pictures of this birthday shin dig :( No ambition to pull out the camera aaaand my phone was dead.

But it was an awesome party! I got him a Pizza Oven that my work just released so we had a big ol' pizza party! Tons of family came which made it all the more fun. After pizza and cookies we played some knock Rummy until about midnight! Devin's mom ended up winning the $30 pot! It was an awesome night and a fun birthday. Glad he enjoyed it and i'm even more glad he stole my heart and made me his :)
